Our state currently enjoys one of the highest standards of living in the country. This high standard exists due to our long-term economic growth which creates new jobs and provides more opportunities to residents. The engine behind this economic growth for New Jersey has been – and will continue to be – entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs create the companies that enable us to enjoy a high standard of living.

Hispanics accounted for about half the growth in the U.S. population since 2000, according to a Census Bureau report to be released today that indicates the nation's largest minority group is increasing its presence even faster than in the previous decade.

WASHINGTON - One of every seven people in the United States is Hispanic, a record number that probably will keep rising because of immigration and a birth rate outstripping that of non-Hispanic blacks and whites.
