Workshop with Marketing Expert Dr. Francisco J. Quevedo: The 2026 World Cup Map of Opportunities

Our commitment to creating opportunities for business growth expands with an upcoming workshop in partnership with Rutgers Business School. On Sept. 18, 2025, the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey will host The 2026 World Cup: Map of Opportunities, a strategy mapping session designed to help businesses prepare for the world’s largest sporting event and the opportunities it will generate.

Entrepreneurs, executives, and community leaders who attend will gain a detailed analysis of the 2026 landscape in light of FIFA’s World Cup and the market dynamics already taking shape. Participants will leave with a strategic diagnosis of their business, an umbrella strategy map, and the option to join a semester-long follow-up project with a Rutgers consulting team.

The workshop will be led by Dr. Francisco J. Quevedo, professor at Rutgers Business School and director of the Center for Marketing Advantage, Advancement, and Action. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Quevedo also holds an MBA in marketing, a CGASB in corporate strategic planning, and a doctorate in business from Pace University. His consulting career spans more than four decades, guiding small enterprises, nonprofits, government agencies, and multinational corporations, including DuPont, Liberty Mutual, Chubb and Parmalat.

He has advised organizations across the United States, Japan, Andorra, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Honduras and Aruba. At Rutgers, he manages more than 25 consulting projects each year and was recently elected senator for the 2025–28 term.

The World Cup is more than a sporting event — it is an economic and cultural engine that will transform markets and industries. Just as SHCCNJ’s June program with Italian sculptor Dante Mortet demonstrated how art and legacy spark cultural and business dialogue.

The September workshop will deliver the strategic tools entrepreneurs and executives need to thrive in a world-stage economy.
