Gov. Mikie Sherrill to Deliver Keynote at SHCCNJ’s 15th Annual Feria de Negocios

Northeast's largest Hispanic business expo brings entrepreneurs, corporations and communities together July 30 in Edison 

LYNDHURST, N.J. — The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey announced that Gov. Mikie Sherrill will deliver the keynote address at the 15th annual Feria de Negocios on July 30 at Pines Manor in Edison. 

Sherrill will attend Feria in person for the first time as governor. During her 2025 campaign, she addressed attendees by video, highlighting expanded access to state contracts and streamlined permitting for small businesses. 

"Gov. Sherrill's return to Feria, now as governor, carries special significance for our Chamber and the entrepreneurs we serve," said Luis O. De La Hoz, chairman of the SHCCNJ Board of Directors. "It affirms that Hispanic-owned and other small businesses are essential to New Jersey's economic future and must have a voice in the decisions that shape it. We look forward to continuing to work with her administration to expand access to capital, contracts, markets and opportunity." 

Where Entrepreneurship, Commerce and Culture Meet 

Feria has grown into one of New Jersey's premier gatherings for entrepreneurship, commerce and culture. In 2025, it drew more than 1,400 attendees and 140 vendors across industries ranging from technology and finance to beauty, food and professional services. 

While Feria is rooted in Latino culture and entrepreneurship, its reach extends beyond the Hispanic community: nearly 45% of SHCCNJ's membership is non-Hispanic.

Feria turns Hispanic cultural influences into economic opportunity, creating a marketplace where Latino and non-Latino businesses connect, reach new customers and enter new markets. This same appeal was visible during the world's largest soccer tournament, when non-Spanish-speaking fans turned to Telemundo for the energy and emotion of its coverage. 

Event Details 

The 15th annual Feria de Negocios begins at 2:30 p.m., July 30, at Pines Manor in Edison. Free tickets are available through Eventbrite.  

This year's expo will also feature the return of the Mexican Pavilion, which debuted in 2025 and highlights entrepreneurship, culture and cuisine from Puebla and other regions of Mexico.
