Lyndhurst, N.J. — The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey has extended the application deadline for its Entrepreneurship Training Program (ETP) to Jan. 2, responding to continued demand for one of the organization’s most sought-after business development training programs for entrepreneurs.

ETP is a free, bilingual, cohort-based training program designed for entrepreneurs with new or existing businesses that are five years old or less. Participation is limited, and enrollment is competitive.

“The Entrepreneurship Training Program provides practical, instructor-led training to help entrepreneurs start, stabilize, or scale a business, with courses delivered primarily online to accommodate working business owners and a limited number of in-person sessions offered throughout the program,” said Dr. Jairo Borja, Vice President of Corporate and Entrepreneurial Programs.

Participants who complete ETP earn an entrepreneurship certificate and gain hands-on guidance in critical areas of early-stage business success, including market research, competitive analysis, product development, pricing, marketing, customer engagement, access to capital, procurement opportunities, licensing, legal structures, and risk management.

ETP instructors bring real-world experience from across the business, finance, legal, and entrepreneurial sectors, ensuring participants receive practical tools they can apply immediately.

The program reflects SHCCNJ’s ongoing commitment to strengthening small businesses throughout New Jersey by providing accessible, high-quality training and direct pathways to resources and networks that support long-term growth.

Applications for the Entrepreneurship Training Program are open through Jan. 2. ETP Classes run Fridays from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM, January 30th through May 15.

Space is limited. Interested applicants can contact Daniela C. Velez at [email protected] or complete the online application here.
