Recognizing Latinas Who Inspire, Lead and Empower

The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey is proud to celebrate our very own Aixa G. Lopez, P.E., Chief of Staff, as one of El Diario’s 2025 Mujeres Destacadas—a prestigious honor recognizing 24 exceptional Latinas across the tri-state area.

This recognition, presented by the longest-running Spanish-language daily newspaper in the United States, honors women who exemplify excellence, leadership and service to their communities.

Why We Celebrate Aixa

Aixa Lopez is a trailblazer whose leadership is felt far beyond titles. With more than 30 years of experience in engineering, operations, and strategic planning, she has helped shape SHCCNJ into one of the largest Hispanic business chambers in New Jersey and the country.

As Chief of Staff—and previously as Vice President of Operations—Aixa is a trusted advisor, a problem-solver and a passionate advocate for Latino entrepreneurs. She also serves on the board of PAYE, promoting access to education in Puerto Rico, and works as a consultant with Qualis Solutions, LLC to improve organizational impact across sectors.

“Aixa’s leadership, vision and quiet strength are at the heart of our Chamber’s work,” said SHCCNJ President Carlos Medina. “She lifts others as she leads, and we are so proud to see her recognized by El Diario.”
